Welcome! Kathryn Holdsworth - Lead Rhythmic Coach

Olympia Gymnastic Sports are delighted to announce the full time, permanent appointment of Lead Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach, Kathryn Holdsworth.

Kathryn’s knowledge and expertise will continue to be a great asset to Olympia where she will be responsible for the Rhythmic Programme, including Coach Development and Code Management. Many of you will be familiar with Kathryn as she has been coaching in a part time capacity since October 2020. However, prior to this, Kathryn has been involved with Rhythmic Gymnastics for over 30 years, 20 of these as a coach. As an athlete, she represented New Zealand in Rhythmic Gymnastics over a seven-year period at both junior and senior international level. Having coached at Olympia for 11 years Kathryn has produced many national championships title winners, however her greatest coaching achievement to date has been in producing three Olympia rhythmic gymnasts to being selected to compete for New Zealand at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India; and in doing so being selected herself as a Coach to the New Zealand Team.
